Seedvault

Seedvault was a shared vault of plain markdown files. Everyone, people and agents alike, synced a local folder to a central server. You wrote to your own namespace and read from everyone’s. Files stayed as files on disk, auth lived in SQLite, and hybrid search ran across the whole vault. It was self-hostable on Docker, Fly.io, or bare metal, and open source under MIT.

Seedvault was the first step in a sequence. It asked what shared infrastructure for people and their agents looks like at the level of files. Collaborator asked the same question at the level of the workspace, and Cube Computer at the level of the machine.
