Shop notes: Infinite terminals
Hi all,
Happy Friday the 13th!
I was going to write more, but I have another offhand tweet doing some numbers. Let’s talk about that briefly; then I need to get back to that situation.
Backstory: some of you might remember that I shipped this product called Hyperspatial as an experiment in Dec 2024:

It didn’t really land at the time.
But on Wednesday, during a session at Betaworks on people’s agentic workflows, I heard a people complaining about the lack of a ‘good UI’ for working with tons of agents and inspecting their outputs.
On the subway ride home the idea came to me to dig up my work on Hyperspatial and see how the product formula has changed now that everything is being done in the terminal. What if you had a canvas of terminals? Alongside the specs agents were drafting, and which others are building off, and previews of the running code?
Yesterday I went on a few prompt spirals with parallel Claude Code + Superpowers planning sessions. In the evening I dropped a stripped-back spec into a single Claude session and ran it before bed.
This morning on my flight to Chicago I booted up the dev build and fixed the most egregious bugs. At the ORD Manchu Wok I recorded the following video and tweeted it before heading for the trains.

In just over 2 hours it’s gotten almost 60k views and over 1k likes!
So I think I’ve hit some kind of nerve.
I’m gonna get back to this but thanks, as always, for reading and please reach out if you wanna chat!
