Shop notes: Going viral
Hi friends,
It’s been a whirlwind of a week.
I fired off my last update hastily because a tweet of mine was in the process of making the rounds. Ten days on it’s topped out at over 300k views. Not bad for a janky 13 second clip.

That was on a Friday; the next Monday morning I was having coffee with a member of the technical staff at [large AI company], and on Wednesday I was at their SF HQ all day for meetings and interviews.
I’ve also had some very positive conversations with new investors, and more meetings this coming week.
Today I made the source code for Collaborator available through an FSL 1.1 license that converts to Apache 2.0 in two years.
People on Twitter see in Collaborator a “Canvas-based agentic development environment”, which it is. But that’s only the first act.
The second act is hinted at in the name: my vision for Collaborator is not only an agentic environment that you work within, but an agentic ecosystem that creates together with you.
I came across MiroFish last week and was immediately struck by this project. It’s doing at least three very interesting things:
- Turning an extracted knowledge graph into an agent swarm
- Using the OASIS agentic social networking framework to manage inter-agent context exchange
- Applying agent-based simulation to the problem of prediction
This was the pattern I have been looking for. I’m currently adopting MiroFish’s approach not to prediction, but to production.
Let’s chat if we haven’t caught up in a while.
